Since 2012, a small but passionate group of parents and hockey fans have fostered the love of the game in Mammoth Lakes, California and the greater Eastern Sierra region. Mammoth Lakes Youth Hockey’s mission is to provide the young people of the Eastern Sierra the opportunity to play ice hockey in a fun, fair, safe, and competitive environment. MLYH encourages the development of individual and team skills both on the ice and off of it.
Mammoth Lakes Youth Hockey is an inclusive hockey club that upholds the highest standards of sportsmanship and athletic development. MLYH empowers youth hockey success for existing players, and enables participation and performance across all ages, genders, and cultures across the Eastern Sierra Region. MLYH is a club that is welcoming, family oriented, and development driven. MLYH provides an environment for the achievement of hockey excellence and measures its long term success by increased participation and player retention at all levels of competition.
MLYH is an all-volunteer organization of more than two dozen community members from a variety of backgrounds. MLYH is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit corporation and is a member of USA Hockey and SCAHA.
