IN-HOUSE PROGRAM IS OPEN!
Mammoth Lakes Youth Hockey is a co-ed program and offers the following age classifications for In-House Program teams:
- MINIS (Learn to Play)
- 6U – (Birth Year 2020 -2022)
- UNIVERSE DIVISION
- 8U – Birth Year 2018 & 2019 & 10U First-time players
- NEBULA DIVISION
- 10U – Birth Year 2016 & 2017
- 12U – 2014 Birth Year & First-time 2013 players
- GALAXY DIVISION
- 12U – 2013 Birth Year & more advanced 2014 players
- 14U – Birth Year 2012 & 2013
- 18U – 2011 and older
Athletes of all ages, abilities, and experience are welcome and encouraged to come play!
2026 – 2027 Registration Fees Include:
- Two 60-minute practices per week (Nebula Division and older)
- One mid-week practice and one Saturday morning practice
- Two 45-minute half-ice practices per week (Minis & Universe Divisions)
- One mid-week practice and one Saturday morning practice
- In-House games every Sunday (Universe, Nebula, and Galaxy Divisions)
- LA Kings Ice 10-session stick-time pass
- Mammoth Lakes Youth Hockey Practice Jerseys
- Matching Hockey Socks
- Equipment Exchange
- Team and Individual Photos
- FUN! FUN! FUN!
2026 – 2027 Registration Fee Schedule:
-Minis Division Players – $180
-Universe Division Players – $225
-Nebula & Galaxy Division Players – $450
-Nebula & Galaxy Division Goal Tenders – $260

USA HOCKEY REQUIREMENT
Mammoth Lakes Youth Hockey is a USA Hockey sanctioned program. Being a part of USA Hockey is vital part of our growth and has numerous benefits for our players, coaches, and parents. Every player must have a USA Hockey number prior to registering, and there is a link on the registration site. Sports Engine processes our registrations and fee payments. The Sports Engine platform simplifies and streamlines the registration process and allows us to focus on creating practice plans rather than chasing payments.
MLYH also uses Sports Engine for all our announcements and contacts. Please download the Sports Engine App for either iOS or Android HERE.
SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITIES
The Town of Mammoth Lakes provides need-based scholarships for any family whose child wishes to participate in local sports. The Tony Colasardo Scholarship covers up to 90% of your child’s registration fees.

Mammoth Lakes Youth Hockey is committed to making hockey accessible to any child who wants to play this great game. For 2025 and beyond, we are so proud and excited to announce the Patrick Bernard Scholarship Fund! This fund provides resources to cover equipment, camps, tournaments, and other non-registration related hockey costs.
