SCAHA 12U B Champions!
A huge congratulations to our 12U Peewee B team for winning the SCAHA championship last weekend in Anaheim! It was a hard-fought game, but the Mammoth Stars overcame the Coachella Valley Jr. Firebirds (1) by a score of 6-2 to capture the top spot.
The Stars capped off an undefeated season with the win going 21-0-1 in league play, and brought home the first-ever championship for a Mammoth team.

Playoff Stars!
A HUGE congratulations to our 14U and 12U teams for making the SCAHA playoffs in their first season!
The Bantam (14U) team traveled to Panorama City last weekend and started the weekend with a 8-2 win over the Coachella Valley Jr Firebirds. On Sunday they had two more games, falling to the Santa Barbara Ice Hawks 6-4 and later in the day to the Alisa Viejo Avalanche 5-2. This wraps up a great season for the Bantam team, who finished with a Regular Season record of 16-1-0.
The PeeWee (12U) team traveled to Lake Forest where they defeated the Jr Kings 7-1, the Empire Hockey Club 8-3, and the Aliso Viejo Avalanche 4-0. The PeeWee team moves on to the semi-finals in Santa Clarita next weekend where they will battle the Ventura Mariners for a chance to move on to the Southern California Amateur Hockey Association (SCAHA) Championships!

Little Kings Learn to Play!
Registration for the LA Kings Learn to Play program is NOW OPEN! If your child is between the age of 5 and 10 and has not previously participated in the program–they’re eligible! For $314, your player receives head to toe hockey gear and six on-ice sessions at LA Kings Ice at Mammoth Lakes! It’s a great program and will be a lot of fun!

Mammoth Stars have Pro Ambitions
This week 24 Mammoth Stars headed north to the Tahoe Ice Arena for four days of intense skill development with Jeff Serowik and the team from Pro Ambitions hockey camps. They camped, they worked, they sweated, they improved, but most importantly, they had fun and grew their love for the game.
THANK YOU to the parents who made it happen!
2023 – 2024 Season is nearly here!
Practices begin November 13 in our brand new barn! Can’t wait to see you all there!
Tournament Team Uniform Fitting!
Our mandatory travel team uniform fitting will happen this Saturday, August 27, 2022 from 9 – 11 at the old rink.

22 – 23 Season Registration opens May 1, 2022!
Difficult to believe, but we’ll be opening registration for next season on May 1.
We have several exciting changes to share with you!
Next season, we will be:
-Adding a 14U (Bantam) age group!
–Creating an in-house league with each team having one game per week.
–Continuing our travel hockey program
-Providing a 10-week (session 2) 6U and learn to skate program
-Dividing the season into two sessions to allow for a Christmas break.
The sessions will be:
SESSION 1:
October 3 – December 16, 2022
SESSION 2:
January 9 – March 17, 2022
Costs:
Full season: $400 (eligible for 15% early-bird discount
Session 1 or 2 only: $250
6U Program: $160
Travel program: $200 (plus full-season commitment)2-23
You can, of course sign up for the entire season, and enjoy a 15% discount when you register before May 31, 2022.
